Hmmm......I thought to myself, "What goes with a dream car?" and the answer of course is - a dream house. Now...this might not be my dream home exactly, but it has the basic fundamentals of it. Those being:
it's a cottage
it has a huge garden (hired gardner, i have a black thumb)
and it is located in Ireland
Is that so much to ask?

Very nice setting.
I have a 30 year old Log cabin on about 12 acres on what is known as Dalton Mountain in Northwestern NH.
It is an old style cabin. It was built by the loggers who where harvesting the moountain at the time.
The view I have is breath taking.
The cabin is small. Sheila likes the location, but not the cabin. She is making several changes to the cabin, which frankly breaks my heart. But, I let her.
I bought my log cabin while I was working in Massachusetts.
It took me a year to be able to live there.
But I finally made it.
I hope to be able to retire here. But I'll have to wait and see what fate has in store.
Right on Kirk! I am uber envious of your cabin....I hope that will always remain everything that you ever dream of~
