Princess Alice (mother of Prince Phillip) was born deaf but could read lips in several languages. Later in life, after being diagnosed with schizophrenia, she spent some time in a asylum. When released, she devoted her life to charity. What an interesting, intelligent and strong woman to go through so much and still be able to give to others.

I can't imagine reading lips in one language, let alone several. Inspirational woman. Gives me hope for my craziness. ;)
