We had such a wonderful time this Saturday! I was getting a little bit of cabin fever, so we decided to head down to San Marco for some lunch and a walk. I think we'll make this a family tradition~

We can deny it no longer. The accusations regarding Blaine's addiction to Skittles are true. This has been a very trying time for our family but we are working through it......with love. Thank you for your prayers, we couldn't do it without the faith and determination of you all.

I love to go home is........ FAMILY! Yup, I love them even more than the scenery and quiet. We miss you guys already!

Takes your breath away, doesn't it? This is the second thing that I love most about going home. The pictures don't even really do it justice. You can't feel the breeze or enjoy the scent of the clean , pure air. Oh....I'm making myself jealous.

I wanted to blog a little bit about my vacation back home. I'll post a little bit of my time there for a couple of days. Truth is, I had such a great time! So my first day of posting....I present to you...the Baker County Fair. Don't laugh...it really is a lot of fun!

Blaine's cousin Clark turned 1 today! He was the only one to keep his hat on the entire time. To be quite honest....I don't think he noticed it was there, lol.

Actually, he didn't do half bad. He ate almost all of his first meal (consisting of cereal) and didn't spit up any of it.

Blaine is, indeed, a ladies man. However, he is not yet aware that flirting with your cousins is a social faux pas.

an anniversary and a birthday....

A beautiful hand-crafted pencil that Michael got me for our sixth anniversary. I would have posted a picture of my present to him, but it's already been installed into our computer (a new sound card), lol.

For Michael's 29th birthday, we had dinner and dessert at his parents' home. It was nice to have a lot of family around and I think he had a good time! Only one more year though, to the big 3-0. :)

What a truly wonderful and unexpected surprise! Both Michael and I really wanted to thank our good friends, Mr and Mrs G for this gift basket. You two have always been so gracious, I only hope that we can return the favor!!

A great big happy fathers day to two of the most important people in my life! Thank you, dad, for raising me right. I always respected you and never was afraid of you. You've been a wonderful support in my life...I love you~

And to my wonderful husband....you are a wonderful father! I always knew you would be. You have a kind and gentle heart and Blaine's eyes light up whenever he sees you. He loves you so much and I love you too~

I know what you're all thinking; "About dang time!!" So, at the ripe old age of 26, I have finally secured a license to drive for myself. No more jokes about it from here on out. :)
